Hey everyone,
We are finally home and we will not have to return to Memphis until October just for a check up. We had a rough trip home. An hour out of Memphis our van broke down. We overheated. God was with us and we ended up making it to Nashville that night. Kole got pretty sick that day due to the heat and our van did not have air. Saturday, we had the car checked and we found out that our transmission was going bad. We had to love on our transmission on the way home and we had air again. We made it home late on Saturday.
Kole is doing great. He is getting back to himself. He has been playing with his cousins and friends. And his appetite is coming back. He actually said, "I think food tastes good again." That was music to my ears.
God is so good. He has taken care of our family this entire time. It was by God's grace that we made it home and that Kole is feeling so good and able to eat. We miss St. Jude and all of our friends but it is sure nice to be home. Oh by the way, I am so sorry this has taken so long. I will try to be better at updating the blog.
